ROMANIA

A World Vets team spayed and neutered 191 animals on this project in addition to medical consultation. The team also worked with the Romanian Army to provide sterilization surgeries for all the dogs on the Army base. In addition, World Vets signed a formal animal welfare treaty with the city of Buzau Romania and local animal welfare groups.

Visit Transylvania, Dracula's castle and spay and neuter dogs and cats in Buzau, Romania.   This is a great trip for students to learn and practice surgical techniques too!  Romania is a country of spectacular beauty, culture and history.

  • A World Vets team of equine veterinarians, farriers and students held a clinic for working horses and provided training (teeth floating, hoof trimming and other techiques) to local Romanian veterinarians   Dental and trimming equipment was also donated to the local veterinary community so they could continue to carry on the work.
