World Vets works in Loreto situated in the pennisula of Baja Mexico on the Sea of Cortez. On a regular basis World Vets provides community-wide spay and neuter services to this coastal fishing village. 

In collaboration with local animal welfare organization and veterinary clinic, Animalandia, World Vets is helping to make huge strides in providing population control and helping to decrease the spread of zoonotic disease. 


  

       

 
BAJA MEXICO (Loreto)

This trip is a spay/neuter project in Loreto, Baja Mexico.  We expect to do ~200 surgeries during the project.  The group will be working in a clinic operated by Animalandia, a local animal welfare group.  Dr. Karen Allum of Pennsylvania is the trip leader.   Read more...

    This trip is an equine project in Loreto, Baja Mexico.  Volunteers can expect to visit horse ranches and be involved in castratoins, teeth floating, deworming, vaccinations, wound treatments, health exams. Dr. Liz Bracken, a resident of Loreto, is the trip leader.
