

We work in 2 cities of Nicaragua. In San Juan del Sur we operate regular sterilization campaigns and in Granada we have an established Equine Welfare Project. Both projects are supported by the Fondation Brigitte Bardot.

In collaboration with the US Navy and the humanitarian aid mission "Pacific Partnership", we provide ongoing veterinary assistance to the young country of Timor Leste.

World Vets is undertaking a community-wide spay/neuter initiative in collaboration with the municipality of Ibarra, Ecuador.

World Vets has a formal agreement with the municipality of Cusco, Peru to provide sterilization services as a means of managing the dog and cat population.

World Vets provides free spay/neuter services and medical consultations in Roatan each year. We also aid in the prevention of zoonotic diseases by providing mass rabies vaccination campaigns and deworming programs.

World Vets has a formal, written treaty with the city of Buzau, Romania. Projects include both small animal and equine.
Project supported by the generosity of Cristina Peterson of Mesa, Arizona (formerly of Romania).

World Vets works in collaboration with a local animal rescue/welfare organization in and around Nosara Costa Rica. We provide large scale sterilization campaigns to control the small animal population. This project was initiated in August 2010.

World Vets has volunteer opportunities to Haiti on the "Continuing Promise" mission in collaboration with the US Navy.
We have also developed a new partnership with iF Foundation to provide veterinary assistance for their animal husbandry projects.

World Vets conducted a pilot project in Kahama and Dar es Salaam in the fall of 2010. World Vets volunteers provided veterinary assistance to donkeys as well as the small animal population. World Vets will carry out follow up assistance in 2011.

World Vets has had various teams travel to Loreto, Mexico to provide community-wide spay and neuter services. Together with local veterinary clinic, Animalandia, we have made a noticeable difference in the community dog population.
